Kummaa on tää kiima tulla nimenomaan kilpailluimmille sektoreille eli AHTS+PSV:

"The Company has ordered two (2) ultra large, 34,000bhp Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (AHTS) and four (4) l arge, 5,100DWT Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) from STX Europe, and these state-of-art vessels are due for delivery between Q4 2010 to Q3 2011. All new build s are designed to be environmentally friendly "CLEAN DESIGN" vessels."

Tosin 2007 markkina näytti täysin erilaiselta:

"In 2007, "K" Line announced a major investment plan. It called for the company to enter the offshore vessel business, a market in which Japanese operators are not major players. It established "K" Line Offshore AS in Norway, which placed an order for six offshore support vessels. This large-scale project has a total investment framework of approximately NOK 3.3 billion"

Ei toi ADS Offshore AS (ADS) tainnut kuitenkaan sekään olla offshore-busineksessa aiemmin.
